Average route/day: 165 km
Number of bikes: 6 bikes max

• Small twisty roads in Portuguese Alentejo and Spanish Extremadura
• Wine tasting in Pias at Vinhos Margaça winery
• Visit of Jerez de los Caballeros in Spain, a medieval town founded in 1229 and later turned over
to the Knights Templar (“los caballeros”)
• Visit of Delta Coffee Museum near Campo Maior
• Visit of Portalegre in the nature park Serra de São Mamede
• Visit of the well-preserved medieval castle of Marvão founded in the 9th century by the Islamic
knight Ibn Marwan.

• Parque Natural de Sierra de Gredos, a high mountain range in central Spain (2600m)
• Talavera de la Reina, on the Tagus River, is famous for its pottery, which was declared intangible
cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2019
